The most amazing football pitch locations in the World.

I was looking for inspiration for a different style of article to write and this seemed perfect, I hope you enjoy it.
1. Castelmezzano, Italy

Castelmezzano is a town and comune in the province of Potenza, in the Southern Italian region of Basilicata. It is bounded by the comuni of Albano di Lucania, Anzi, Laurenzana, Pietrapertosa, Trivigno. It is part of the club The most beautiful villages in Italy.
2. Qeqertarsuaq, Greenland.

Located on the south coast of Disko Island, Qeqertarsuaq is a port and town in Qeqertalik municipality. It was founded in 1773 and is now home to a campus of the University of Copenhagen known as Arctic Station.
3. Križna Luka, Hvar – NK Hvar

The football pitch is nestled along the waterfront of Križna Luka, a neighbourhood on the Croatian island of Hvar.
Home of NK Hvar, who play in ZNl Splitsko-dalmatinska.
4. Ottmar Hitzfeld Stadium, Gspon, Switzerland.

Ottmar Hitzfeld Stadium, the highest stadium in Europe (at an altitude of 2,000 m above sea level), is the home of Fc Gspon.
5. Cacica, Romania.

This mind-blowing football pitch is in a salt mine, buried 30 meters underground.
6. Uummannaq, Greenland.

With 1,407 inhabitants in 2020, it is only the eighth-largest town in Greenland.
7. Mahibadhoo Island, Maldivas.

Mahibadhoo is a small island town in the central Maldives and is the administrative capital of South Ari Atoll.
8. Stade Francis Di Giovanni, Marsielle.
